To further equip the Sales Executives with the knowledge of modified starch, National Starch provided a one day training on November 21, 2007 held in Somerset, Makati City.

The first part of the training was on the starch technology. This covered the different sources of starch, the modifications that resulted to different textures and product stability and types of modified starches.

The second part was on the application technology. Product samples were presented to show the different application areas.

The training was very informative that gave confidence to all SEs in their respective dealings with the customers.

The training was given by National Starch’s Technical & Application Manager, Ms. Ai-Tsing Tan of Singapore and Ms. Lorelie Silab and was also attended by Wills President, Mr. William Chua and NSC Business Manager, Mr. Julius Yu.

The training further strengthened the business partnership between NSC and Wills International.
