UNITED NATIONS AT WILLS INTERNATIONAL - December 13, 2008

This year’s annual party was held at The Legend Villas Mandaluyong City last December 13, 2008. It has a theme: United Nations.

Employees came in fabulous national costumes of different countries. After dinner, Ms. Blanca Navarro (Ms. Philippines – Igorot) was chosen to have the best costume from the female division. It has been recalled that she won the same award last year. From the male division, it was Mr. Regan Balolot Sr. (Mr. Portugal) who got the best in costume award.

The annual raffle of major and minor prizes was drawn. Also, the annual group presentation was held. There were five groups composed of 7-8 employees each who have shown their talents in singing, dancing, and impersonations. At the end, it was group number 5 who bagged the grand prize of P 20,000.00. Group #1 and Group #3 won the second (P 10,000.00) and third (P 5,000.00) prizes respectively.

Unlike the past years, the company organized a singing contest this year. Nine contestants sang their pieces. Ms. Evelyn Comania won the third prize; Mr. Tirso Bilog won the second prize; and it was Ms. Marisan Lescano who got the first prize.

Prestigious awards were given to employees who excel in their field: Ms. Rio Clemente won the S.E. of the year award. Ms. Desiree Infanta and Ms. Blanca Navarro came next to her as 2^nd and 3^rd respectively. They received plaques plus cash prizes. There were also recognitions given to employees such as employees with: perfect attendance (Mr. Johnson Cua), and five years in service (Mr. Rolly Sison, Danilo Elpos). Mysterious “kalabasa” awards were also awarded to different employees.

That evening was filled with joy, fun and excitement. Everyone went home with their own prizes and a heartfelt Christmas spirit. Another memory to fonder and cherish!
