FIL-CHI BAKERY FAIR 2009 - February 19-21, 2009
Filipino-Chinese Bakery Association, Inc (FCBAI) is one of the bakery organizations in the Philippines which had united 33 allied members, 61 bakery members, 25 FCBAI Directors and 8 FCBAI Officers.
The Exhibition was held on the World Trade Center for 3 days (February 19-21, 2009) which had accumulated 138 exhibitors with 343 booths. The number of visitors had risen up to 25,000. The show is held every 2 years wherein every event they see to it that there will be something new and improvement for the Bakery Industry.
They never surprised us with new ideas and concepts on this said event. Further more, technical seminars and product presentation had been conducted every day with at least 3 presenters.
The concept for the booth design is focused on the company’s keen for nature and also the direction on the health and wellness idea. Three (3) main products had been emphasized on this Bakery Fair which, are the Novamyl 1500 MG (Fresh-Keeping), Lipopan Xtra BG (Dough Strengthening) and Acrylaway (reduction of acrylamide – carcinogenic substance).
In this exhibit with the help of Novozymes, Wills planned to make customers aware of the product by preparing bread samples for actual analysis. Four (4) bread samples had been prepared in accordance to show 7-10 day old breads. Each day, we have a control and 400 ppm Novamyl 1500 MG (anti-staling enzyme). Visitors can compare the control against the bread with Novamyl 1500 MG.
Lipopan Xtra BG is another main product which we are promoting in the exhibit. Results had been comparable to control (0.2% SSL). Trials vary from the reduction of SSL (25-75%) and an addition of 25 ppm Lipopan Xtra BG. In doing the trials, we had came up on having a blend of SSL and Lipopan Xtra BG which have shown better results in any other trials in terms of volume and crumb structure.
Wills International had entertained clients starting from NCR, Northern Luzon, Bicol area and even Cebu and Davao. Exhibit is really a way on meeting a lot of customers in just one venue. This will definitely improve and increase the sales for the whole company.
